Adobe Character Animator is an AI-assisted animation app for creating 2D character performances using real-time motion capture. It analyzes your facial expressions, body movement, and voice, then applies them to characters built in Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator.

Speech-Aware Animation (introduced in version 3.4) can generate additional mouth, eye, and eyebrow motion based on an audio track.

How to get started

Character Animator is available on Windows and macOS through an Adobe Creative Cloud subscription:

• Install the app via Creative Cloud
• Import a character or build one in Puppet Maker
• Set up your webcam and microphone
• Enable face or body tracking
• Record motion and voice
• Adjust behaviors in the panel
• Export your animation or stream it live

Pricing is available via Creative Cloud for $54.99/month, or as a single app for $20.99/month. A free Starter Mode is included, and the interface supports Russian.
