Apollo is a general-purpose humanoid robot from Apptronik, built on experience from more than ten earlier robots, including NASA’s Valkyrie. It’s designed as a commercial platform for real work alongside people, not a concept prototype.
Apollo’s near-term focus is logistics and industrial environments such as warehouses, factory floors, and distribution centers. It’s intended to take on physically demanding, repetitive tasks to help teams automate operations and reduce strain on staff.
Apollo is engineered with mass production in mind, with an emphasis on payload capacity and strict safety requirements. Apptronik also highlights human-friendly interaction, from the robot’s appearance to its behavior around people.
