Description

askThee is a web service for asking questions to “great minds” from the past and present, presented as AI personas. You choose who to consult—Albert Einstein, Aristotle, Nikola Tesla, Marcus Aurelius, Marie Curie, Frida Kahlo, Ernest Hemingway, Steve Jobs, Elon Musk, Confucius, and others.

Conversations in different voices

The service aims to reflect each figure’s communication style and way of thinking, helping you look at the same question from different angles.

  • Scientific reasoning (for example, in the style of Carl Sagan)
  • Philosophical perspectives (such as Stoic framing)
  • Creative approaches (in the spirit of writers like Isaac Asimov)

Limits and language support

You can ask up to 3 questions per 24 hours, so it works best when your prompts are specific and well-formed. While English is supported, the creators note that the model often understands other languages as well, including Russian.

Who it’s for

askThee is useful for learning, self-reflection, brainstorming, and exploring alternative viewpoints through conversations with historical and modern AI personas.
