Deep Nostalgia is a MyHeritage AI tool that animates faces in old photos. It turns a still portrait into a short, realistic clip with subtle facial movements, helping bring family archives and historical images to life.

What it does

Deep Nostalgia creates a brief video by applying natural-looking motion to a face, such as eye movement, smiles, and head turns. The technology uses deep-learning algorithms developed with D-ID. Since its 2021 launch, more than 116 million animations have been created.
