Flux 1

Flux 1 is a suite of image-generation models designed for text-to-image creation, focused on producing detailed, realistic results from English prompts.

Background

Flux 1 is associated with a team known for earlier work on Stable Diffusion and latent diffusion research. After internal disagreements at Stability AI, key developers left and founded a new startup, Black Forest Labs, where they continued development that led to Flux 1.

Flux 1 model options

Flux 1 is available in three variants, each aimed at a different workflow:

• Flux 1 Pro: the flagship model for maximum image quality, strong prompt adherence, and varied outputs for professional use.
• Flux 1 Dev: an open-source model for noncommercial use, based on Flux 1 Pro and optimized for more efficient resource usage.
• Flux 1 Schnell: a lightweight, fast model intended for local development and personal use.
