Fooocus is an AI tool for generating images from text prompts, built on Stable Diffusion and designed for users with minimal technical skills.

Fooocus was created by the developer of ControlNet (a Stable Diffusion subsystem) and launched in 2023. It focuses on image quality and a simplified workflow.

Installation and requirements

Fooocus V2 is available as a local desktop install and as a web option via Google Colab. Local installation requires an NVIDIA GPU (30xx series recommended) and downloads about 10–20 GB of models.

• Download the Fooocus archive from GitHub
• Unpack it to a folder
• Run run.bat on Windows
• Wait for model downloads
• Enter a text prompt, optionally choose a style, then click Generate

After installation, Fooocus is free to use offline and supports English plus partial Russian.
