Estimate a photo’s location from a single image

0

Description

GeoFinderAI estimates the approximate location of a photo from a single image. Upload a picture and the model analyzes visual details to return coordinates and a confidence area on a map.

How it finds a location

GeoFinderAI uses computer vision signals such as:

  • Architecture and building styles
  • Landscape and terrain
  • Road signs and lane markings
  • Language on storefront signs
  • Other scene elements that can indicate region or country

Based on these cues, it proposes a point on the map and shows a radius where the photo was most likely taken.

Formats, limits, and typical use cases

Supported formats include:

  • JPEG, PNG, GIF, BMP, WebP (up to 10 MB)

Common scenarios:

  • Travelers trying to identify where an old photo was taken
  • Researchers and OSINT analysts working from limited context
  • Content creators organizing or verifying photo locations
