Google Vids is an AI-powered video creation tool built into Google Workspace. It’s designed to simplify video production for business teams, even if you don’t have editing experience.

• Generate a basic script and storyboard from a text prompt
• Use ready-made templates and automated layout
• Add images, video, and music automatically or manually
• Create voiceovers with built-in AI or use teleprompter-style tools
• Edit clips, text, visuals, and narration to personalize the result
• Collaborate on projects in real time

Access and setup

Google Vids is available as a web app and requires a Google Workspace account and internet access. To get started:

• Open workspace.google.com/products/vids
• Create a new project and enter a text prompt
• Add assets from Google Drive or use suggested materials
• Edit the video (text, images, and voiceover)
• Export the finished video or share it with teammates

Notes and limitations

• AI features are free through the end of 2025
• Available only for users on certain Google Workspace plans
• Maximum video length is 10 minutes
• Integrates with Google services, including Google Drive
