Hachi is a tool for searching your personal photo and video library using natural language. Instead of manually sorting by folders, dates, or filenames, you describe what you’re looking for and quickly locate the right shots in your archive.
Search by meaning, not filenames
Hachi focuses on semantic search, helping you find images and clips based on what’s happening in them—even if your files are named inconsistently or stored across many folders.
Built for personal media libraries
Hachi is useful if you’ve accumulated thousands of photos and videos, including:
- Family archives
- Travel photos and videos
- Work shoots
- Personal content collections
Access and installation
The project is available via GitHub and Gumroad. The project page also lists CPU requirements, which can help when running Hachi on your own computer.
