Kitsune AI is a text-to-image neural network that generates anime-style artwork featuring female characters. The project is currently temporarily closed, and there is no standalone website or app. Access is provided through VK, and a Telegram bot was previously launched in test mode.
How it works
The bot launched in late 2022 and, at the time of the original review, had produced around 10 million images. It was trained on millions of "image + description" pairs collected from publicly available thematic sites, including Pixiv and Danbooru.
Using Kitsune AI (VK and Telegram)
To use the bot, you need an account on VK or Telegram. On VK, open the community page, subscribe, and start a chat.
Available commands include:
- /gen — generate a standard image from a prompt
- /nsfw — generate adult images without censorship
- /help — list of commands
The developers recommend prompts of at least 3–5 words (English works best, though Russian is supported). Results usually arrive in seconds but can take up to two minutes depending on server load. If you do not like the result, you can request a new variation based on the previous prompt.
Pricing
Kitsune AI can be used for free, but images include a watermark. A subscription removes the watermark and adds:
- priority in the generation queue
- extra settings
- up to 4K output
- no delays between generations
