Linky is an AI app for chatting with virtual characters, including anime-inspired personas and everyday roles like a teacher, nurse, roommate, boyfriend, or girlfriend. Each character has a distinct personality and conversation style.
The core experience is built for mobile, with apps for Android and iOS. Linky supports text and voice chats, and also lets users exchange images.
Story-driven roleplay
Story Mode turns a regular chat into a branching narrative. Conversations follow a preset scenario, and your replies influence how the plot develops across different paths.
Create and personalize characters
You can build your own AI companion by setting key details such as:
- Name and gender
- Appearance in 2D, Live2D, or 3D
- Personality traits and behavior style
Digital twin and collections
Linky also offers a “digital self” option—an AI character modeled after you that learns your communication style, preferences, and emotional reactions.
Additional in-app mechanics include:
- Collectible “magic cards” generated from your dialogues, featuring an AI character selfie and a unique story fragment
- Social simulation for practicing difficult conversations and empathy skills
Note: During testing, Linky’s web version did not work (bots did not reply), so the service is currently usable only via the mobile app.
