New Alice AI

New Alice AI is Yandex’s updated virtual assistant powered by the YandexGPT 5 Pro language model. It’s designed for practical tasks like analyzing documents, summarizing media, and helping plan everyday activities.

What it can do

• Analyze files (PDF, DOC, DOCX, TXT) and turn them into structured reports
• Recognize handwritten text from photos and animate images
• Generate text in Russian and English (emails, event scripts, social posts)
• Create up to 4 image variations from a prompt using YandexART 2.5
• Summarize videos, highlight key points, and answer questions about them
• Use AI agents to help with tasks like booking restaurant tables or finding the lowest prices
• Offer quests and games for kids ages 3–8
• Help with coding by generating programs and suggesting multiple solution approaches

Access and pricing

New Alice AI is available at alice.yandex.ru, in mobile apps for Android and iOS, and on Yandex smart speakers. Voice input works in the Yandex app with Alice and in the browser. The base version has been free with no limits since July 2025. The Pro version costs 199 RUB/month and adds features like personalized responses. The assistant supports Russian and English.
