PocketPal AI

PocketPal AI is a mobile app for running language models directly on your smartphone, including offline use. It supports models such as Danube, Microsoft Phi, Google Gemma 2, Qwen, and LLaMA.

PocketPal AI provides a free set of tools for working with language models without an internet connection.

• Chat with an AI assistant on different topics
• Generate text in different formats, from short messages to longer articles
• Translate between languages
• Summarize long texts into shorter versions
• Use multiple models (SLM, Danube, Phi, Gemma, and others)
• Download models to your phone’s storage for local use

How it works

The app interface is in English, but the models can understand and respond to Russian prompts.

• Install PocketPal AI from the App Store or Google Play
• Choose a model from the list and download it to your device
• Adjust settings in the menu if needed
• Enter a prompt in the chat and review the response

The project is open source on GitHub. Keep in mind that a single downloadable model can be up to about 1 GB in size.
