Slop or Not

Slop or Not is an iPhone app that detects AI-generated content entirely on-device. It analyzes both text and images and returns an estimate of how likely the material was generated by a neural network, without sending data to the cloud.

Check text and images locally

The app’s models are trained on millions of examples of human and machine-generated content. Paste text or upload an image to get a likelihood score that helps flag AI-written descriptions, articles, messages, or suspicious photos.

Privacy-first, offline by design

All processing runs on the Apple Neural Engine for faster checks and efficient battery use. There’s no account, no cloud, and no tracking, so your data stays on your device. With no usage limits, it’s practical for frequent checks, including when working with sensitive information.
