SwitchLight is an AI service for relighting images and generating material data, built for artists, 3D designers, and visual content creators. It helps you match lighting between portraits, relight shots using HDRI environments, and extract PBR maps for more realistic rendering.

Key capabilities

• Copy Light: transfer a lighting setup from one portrait to another
• HDRI Relight: relight an image using panoramic HDRI environment maps
• PBR map extraction: generate normal, albedo, and roughness maps for physically based rendering workflows

Platform change

The SwitchLight web version will shut down on January 31, 2026. The service is moving to the Beeeble platform, where users will have access to improved PBR maps, more VFX passes, and video relighting features.
