Chat with RTX

Chat with RTX is an NVIDIA chatbot for finding information and writing text with generative AI that runs locally on your computer. It provides real-time, personalized answers while working offline after setup.

What it can do

• Generate text for different topics and styles
• Search for information in local files, including documents, spreadsheets, and images
• Help write code in multiple programming languages

Chat with RTX currently supports English only (Russian is not available).

Installation and use

To start using Chat with RTX, you’ll need to download and install it from NVIDIA:

• Register on the official NVIDIA website and download the required software (a 35 GB ZIP archive)
• Unpack the installer to a drive with enough free space (at least 70 GB); an internet connection is required during installation
• Wait for the desktop shortcut to appear, then launch and activate the app

Chat with RTX includes the Mistral and Llama 2 language models, which can be installed separately. It does not modify your operating system, and once activated it can run without an internet connection.
