Cline is an autonomous coding agent that runs inside your IDE as a Visual Studio Code extension. It helps streamline software development by creating and editing files, running commands, and using a browser—while asking for your approval at each step.

What Cline can do

• Create and modify files directly in your project
• Run terminal commands and monitor execution in real time
• Use a browser for tasks that require web access
• Draft an action plan before starting, explain its reasoning, and break work into steps
• Support Model Context Protocol (MCP) to build custom tools and connect Cline to other services
