Dictly

Dictly converts spoken words into clean, structured text on Mac and iPhone. Everything runs locally, with no servers, no audio uploads, and no need to wait for a network connection. It’s useful for notes, emails, tasks, and any text that’s faster to dictate than type.

Offline speech recognition

Dictly works fully offline. On Apple Silicon, the first words appear in about 100 ms, so dictation feels close to real time. Because it doesn’t rely on external services, it doesn’t use data and keeps working in airplane mode.

Formatting and workflow control

Beyond transcription, Dictly formats text for readability by adding punctuation, paragraphs, and structure. You can set up separate profiles and workflows for different apps.
