Smatr-AI is a browser extension that brings GPT-like AI directly into the webpages you’re reading. It condenses long text into clear summaries and helps you get specific answers from the content already open in your tab.

One-click text summarization

You can summarize content without leaving the page:

• Hover over a paragraph and click the nearby icon
• Select a passage, right-click, and choose “Summarize Text”
• Get a condensed version that keeps the main ideas and overall structure

This is useful for articles, documentation, research papers, and long reviews.

Ask questions about the current page

From the extension icon, you can ask a question about the page you’re viewing:

• The AI scans the on-page text and returns a direct answer based on that material
• Helps you navigate complex information without rereading sections repeatedly

Chrome and Firefox support

Smatr-AI is available for Chrome and Firefox and works in the browser context. It’s a practical fit for students, researchers, office teams, and anyone who regularly reads long-form content online.
