How it works

Cascade assistance

Cascade is Windsurf’s context-aware AI feature. It analyzes your current code, open files, active project, and recent actions to understand what you’re working on. Based on that context, it can suggest next steps such as writing a new function, fixing errors, improving code style, or adding comments, and it works closely with code generation to provide relevant snippets.
