What is AI Literacy
Ability to understand the capabilities, limitations, risks and rules for the safe use of artificial intelligence.
Definition
AI literacy isn't just for developers. An employee, editor, entrepreneur, teacher or manager must understand when AI is useful, where it can go wrong, what data should not be entered, how to check answers and how to formulate a problem. This is a practical skill in working with modern tools.
Example
The employee uses a chatbot to draft the letter, but does not insert sensitive data and checks the facts before sending.
Why it matters
The term is important because the tool catalog should not only help you find a service, but also use it safely and consciously.
How it works
AI literacy is developed through training, company rules, practical examples, error analysis, understanding data, tips, privacy and copyright.
Where it is used
- employee training
- safe use of neural networks
- working with hints
Limitations
One introductory course is not enough: tools change quickly, so knowledge needs to be updated and supported by real practice.
