Notion AI is a built-in assistant for writing, editing, structuring, and processing text inside Notion. It’s designed to reduce routine work and help you move from a blank page to a usable draft faster.

What you can do with Notion AI

  • Generate drafts for articles, emails, and other documents from a prompt
  • Brainstorm ideas and turn them into structured outlines and lists
  • Fix grammar, spelling, and style issues, with suggestions to improve clarity
  • Summarize long documents or meeting notes
  • Extract key points and action items from text
  • Translate text into multiple languages (including writing and checking Russian)
  • Use autocomplete and create templates in multiple languages

Notion AI can work with connected tools such as Slack and Google Drive to help find information and updates across integrated workspaces.

Pricing and limitations

  • Requires an additional subscription: $10 per user/month; the free trial includes a limited number of requests
  • Doesn’t process embedded files like video or PDFs
  • Doesn’t support complex database operations (for example, counting rows)

  • Open workspace settings
  • Choose a plan that includes AI
  • Add the feature from the settings menu
