Updates

Perplexity’s iOS app now includes a voice assistant. It searches the web, plays podcasts and videos, helps draft emails, sets reminders, and can even book tables via third-party services. It supports Russian and is available without a subscription, but it does not yet work from Russian IP addresses.

Description

Perplexity is an AI language model built as a smart assistant for searching the web and working with text. It can handle tasks of varying complexity and returns answers based on current information available at the time of your request.

Unlike many chatbots, Perplexity has open internet access, which makes it useful for quick lookups such as news summaries, market updates, definitions, and other time-sensitive topics.

How to use

You can use Perplexity in a browser on the official website or install the mobile app. The interface is in English, but it understands Russian and other languages and can process prompts in them.
