TweetDetective works through a Chrome browser extension. After installing it, you sign in using an API key from your TweetDetective account. Once enabled, it automatically analyzes tweet text as you browse your feed.

The system evaluates linguistic patterns, sentence structure, and other signals associated with machine-generated writing. Results appear right in the X interface, making it easier to distinguish human posts from content produced by models like GPT.
