Gep is a local AI assistant for macOS that works directly inside any text field. Built on ChatGPT-4o and other modern models, it helps with everything from brainstorming to polishing finished copy.

Select a word or phrase, press the ⌘⌥G hotkey, and choose a command. The response appears right in the same field—whether you’re in a document, email, messenger, or browser—so you don’t have to switch apps or copy and paste text back and forth.
